Story
The Lucy Irvine Foundation Europe (LIFE) rescues and rehabilitates horses, dogs, cats and other animals in a poor area of rural Bulgaria. LIFE helps people in need of employment, too, by training them to work with the rescued animals we take in. They then spread the word about animals' needs into the community so that animal welfare, which is notoriously poor in Bulgaria, gradually improves.

2 years agoWe have homes waiting for some of our rescued and rehabilitated animals but the cost of transportation for them has risen so much we have to wait for adopters to be able to afford it. Which means more mouths at LIFE to feed.. Please help us reach our target sum soon so that we can order animal food in bulk and thus save money...

2 years agoSweet Emile in the photo is just one of many rescued cats at the Lucy Irvine Foundation Europe. I need to buy more food for them today. Who can put five pounds into the pot? For five pounds we can serve all our rescued cats one good meal of inexpensive kibble with canned food on top to give flavour and for older cats with tooth or gum problems.
