Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving Page.
On Sunday 07th July 2019 I will be taking part in the Iron Man in Austria-Karnten. The event starts with a 2.4 mile (3.8km) swim followed by a 112 mile (180km) bike ride and finally a 26.2 mile (42.2km) run. Totalling 140.6 miles (226km)
I have not yet completed a full Iron Man event before, so this will be my first time. It will take months of consistent training with careful food and drink intake - this means unfortunatley no alcohol for a while!
I am completing this challenge to support the charity Women's Platform UK-WPUK which is non-profit charity organisation. This charity does amazing work, supporting, training, mentoring and empowering under privileged women to give them confidence to start working and be more independent in life. I would really appreciate your donation in aid of WPUK and donating through Just Giving is simple, fast and totally secure.
