Story
The man who cannot be named for legal reasons, had travelled to take part in the public event but his excitement was brought to a sad end when he was savagely attacked and left disfigured.
"This kind of behaviour is unacceptable."
The incident appears to have been witnessed by others at the event who left a comments on Facebook saying: "How apaling and disgusting this is and that this type of thing should never be allowed to happen."
