Calvia Lions Club has supported Mallorcan good causes for over 30 years.

We are running a major fundraising cycle ride (called the Six-Points Cycle Challenge - more info below) on 20, 21 and 22 May 2016 to raise funds for the RANA Foundation http://www.fundacionrana.org/en/ (a non-profit organisation based in the Balearic Islands in Spain, whose objective, since 2005, is the prevention of child sexual abuse via awareness campaigns, educational programs and outreach activities) and the Allen Graham Charity 4 Kidz http://www.agrahamcharity.org/ (a charity based in Mallorca founded in 1992, and is dedicated to helping disadvantaged children and young adults in Mallorca who, through no fault of their own, do not have the opportunity to develop the skills that ensure a secure and safe future).

The Calvia Six-Points Cycle Challenge and will travel from Calvia to the six extremities of Mallorca – four compass points (north - Cap Formentor, south - Cap de Salines, west - St Elm and east - Cala Ratjada) and to the highest (Puig Major) and lowest (Peguira beach) points on tarred roads in two and a half days. This is a total of 400 kms and over 7000 metres of vertical ascent!
