Story
As many of you will know, our good mate Bryan Weir was diagnosed with a stage 4 brain tumour last year, life has been incredibly tough for him and his family, and it came as a huge shock to everyone who knows him.
Bryan is a loving husband to Hannah and an amazing dad to their little boy Alfie, who is just 3 years old. He’s also a massive Hearts and Scotland fan — still managing to get along to Tynecastle for some games when he can, which says everything about his determination and love for the club. Sadly, he won’t be able to travel to support Scotland at the World Cup, something he would have absolutely loved
He’s one of the most selfless people you could ever meet — the kind of guy who would never ask for help himself, but would go out of his way to support anyone in need. A genuinely nice guy with a heart of gold. Since his diagnosis, Bryan has shown incredible strength and positivity, taking every bit of bad news like a champion — still smiling and being the same Bryan we all know and love.
Right now, more than anything, we want to help take some of the pressure off and give Bryan, Hannah and Alfie the chance to spend precious time together, making memories that will last a lifetime.
We’re raising funds to support Bryan and his family through this incredibly difficult time — whether that’s helping with day-to-day costs or giving them the opportunity to enjoy special moments together. Alongside this fundraiser, there will also be a World Cup Final charity event in aid of Bryan. We hope that, together, these efforts will help ease some of the pressure on Bryan and Hannah, allowing them to focus on what matters most: time together as a family.
Anything you can give, no matter how small, will mean the world. And if you can’t donate, please share this message to help us reach as many people as possible.
Thank you for your kindness and support ❤️
