Story

As most of you know my Uncle Graeme had a stroke about 7 years ago and it left him in a wheelchair. He was a very active man who ran the London marathon three times before his stroke. Uncle was my inspiration and decided to start running about 18 months ago training with The Yellow Army twice a week. This group has encouraged me to enter races and organised runs and next month I will be running Liverpool half marathon in the hope of getting Uncle active again.

As you can imagine being confined to a wheelchair is very frustrating for not only Uncle but for all his friends and family who care for him. We would therefore like to engage him in stimulating activities and get him active as best as we can. We are aiming to give him hydrotherapy sessions to stimulate and get him engaged in activities again.

Please support me in this venture.
