The 2024 'Benidorm Bangers' theme for our 'Race to the sun' will be in a customised 'wagon' with the markings of an RAF Spitfire, hence our team name 'The Brylcream Boys' The money we are hoping to raise this year will be divided between 2 charities, 'BARC' and 'Busy Bees'

BARC is an animal rescue centre based in Busot, Alicante. The organisation's goal is to rescue, care for and finally find a home for lost, abandoned or abused animals. In the last 6 years they have rescued and provided a home or rehabilitated more than 1,000 animals.THEY FOLLOW A POLICY OF DO NOT KILL, except by veterinary prescription for humanitarian reasons.

The animal sanctuary referred to as 'Barcland' is run by a huge team of volunteers allowing all the charity monies to be spent on the welfare of the animals.

'Busy Bees' Benidorm is a charity which raises much-needed funds to support children whose home lives, for whatever reason, have fallen apart and who desperately need help. The charity cares for over 100 children, from new- borns up to teenagers, and also acts as a refuge for women and children who are victims of domestic violence.

All monies raised by Busy Bees, together with donations goes to those in need.
