I've raised £2000 to the nursing team at the Coronary Care Unit in Luton & Dunstable Hospital in the UK. This fundraising event will end on 6 November 2019.

16/10/2019: I have an update about the donation for the CCU Ward 6 at the Luton & Dunstable University Hospital where today Bryon presented a £3,000 cheque in recognition of the marvellous way the staff there looked after & cared for him during his stay. Bryon continues to improve every day which is really great news. Donations can still be sent until 6 November 2019.
25/09/2019: On the behalf of those who has donated so far, I have the privilege to present the first cheque of £2,000 pounds to the Coronary Care Unit, Ward 6 at Luton & Dunstable University Hospital in the UK. The opportunity to carry on donating will end on 6 November 2019.
Bryon was taken to Accident & Emergency at Luton & Dunstable Hospital in the UK on the morning of 19 August 2019, having fainted at home due to severe arrhythmia.
He required emergency treatment to stabilise his heart beat and was subsequently transferred to the specialist, Coronary Care Unit at Luton & Dunstable Hospital.
Bryon stayed at the Coronary Care Unit for 11 days. During his stay at the Unit, the care he received was outstanding and I was made to feel welcome and fully informed of his treatment and able to stay with him during this very worrying time.
Bryon was transferred to Harefield Hospital in the early morning of 30 August and an Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator (ICD) was successfully implanted in the afternoon and he was discharged the following day.
Bryon is now recuperating at home and we are confident that he will soon be fully recovered.
Bryon’s recovery was only made possible because of the skills and professional care of the team at the Coronary Care Unit. During my time with Bryon, I was able to see for myself how hard working and dedicated the team were.
I want to show my appreciation to them at the Coronary Care Unit by raising funds to assist their important work.
I will be extremely grateful, if anyone can contribute to this very worthy cause.
This fundraising event will end on 6 November 2019.
