Weʼre raising £2,000 to fund humanitarian projects that I will be taking part in on my trip to Malawi in 2019.

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
In the summer of 2019 I will be travelling to Malawi with a group of 20 girls from my school for 4 weeks to help out in humanitarian projects set up by Camps International to improve the quality of life for those living there as well as aiding environmental protection projects.
Malawi is one of the least developed countries on earth with nearly 53% of its inhabitants living below the poverty line. The projects that we will be taking part in will include building new classrooms, constructing vitally needed community housing, improving local amenities, installing new water facilities, helping rangers protect vulnerable wildlife from poachers and assisting in sustainable farming projects. Through these projects we aim to improve their quality of life whilst also leaving a positive impact on the environment.
50% of the overall cost goes towards funding the projects that we will be assisting as well as others based in Malawi. I aim, with your help, to raise that 50% through sponsored events, bake sales and much more!
Any donation is appreciated, big or small!

During the summer holidays, my friend India and I will be cycling 250km with my family over the period of a few days in France to raise money for Malawi. We would love some sponsors to keep us motivated and stop us from complaining about our aching muscles. Big or small, any donation will be gladly welcomed! Thank you so much. xxx
