We are Basingstoke Synchronised Skating Club, we are a welcoming and friendly club that allows figure-skaters of all levels and ages to skate together. We take part in local and national competitions and occasionally compete abroad. BSSC have been competing Nationally and Internationally for over 20 years, we have held several British Titles and have had the opportunity to represent Great Britain at both Junior and Senior Synchronised Skating World Championships.

We are currently under extreme pressure of losing our ice rink which has been a huge topic within the basingstoke community #keepiceinbasingstoke, with some of the funds raised we will be able to increase our ice time and if necessary purchase ice time at other local ice rinks in order to keep the team skating. The money raised will also help us invest in extra coaching, competition expenses and lastly new training kit (some of which is 20 years old!!!)

We have two events planned for March:

Spring Gala 24th March 2020 6pm-7pm Basingstoke Arena (Entry £3 pay on the day) We welcome you to come along to an evening of entertainment, starring all our teams Snowstorm, Black Ice, Ice Age and our new team Snowdrops! Along with some fantastic performances from local skaters. There will also be a raffle stall with lots of goodies up for grabs!

Sponsored Fancy Dress Skate 26th March 2020 (donation of your choice). We will be aiming to complete a 160K marathon in an hour (100miles, the equivalent of Basingstoke to London and back!)
