Story

Friends of Glendinning Academy are raising £150 (or more) to go towards Enrichment Activities to support the Children at Glendinning Academy.

Buckland Trail of Light

This Christmas we would like to Bring back the Buckland Trail of Light!

The Buckland Trail of light is a Community event, a festive Walking Light Trail around the Estate to take a look at the Colourful Displays and exchange some Christmas Cheer to Neighbours and Family.

The Trail will be Specifically on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd December around Buckland Estate in Newton Abbot.

If you enjoy the displays please make a donation to this page or any collection boxes at the property to help us fundraise.

All the funds raised will go towards Enrichment Activities for the Children of Glendinning in the New Year.

Firstly, We are asking for your support!

Without Light Hosts there is no light Trail, please keep reading if you could take part and feature on our light map!

How you can Take Part as a Light Host

Would you be willing to help us fundraise by Decorating your Home with Christmas lights and making a small donation to our Just Giving Page to be Featured on our Buckland Light Trail Map?

Your home will need to be light up on Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd December from 6pm to 8pm (or later if you wish). These are the specific dates set for the trail but of course please feel free to light it up and fundraise for us on any day as well as these dates.

We would ask that you put out a small Collection Box as well if possible, we can provide a link to be displayed for any online donations that go straight to our just giving page.

If you would like to be featured on our map, once you have decorated your home.

Please Leave a ‘Public Donation including your name (not anonymous) and the word Host on our Just Giving Page and then email your Name and address to trustees@friendsofglendinning.co.uk with the Subject Line ‘Buckland Trail of Light’.

This ensures that we can match up your donation for being a Host with your request to take part.

We ask that all Hosts email in by Wednesday 18th December so that we have time to feature you on the map. Any emails received later than that may not be featured.

Some of our Goals include
