Story
41 Explorer Scouts from across the county have been selected to take part in Buckinghamshire Scout's latest International Expedition - across 5 countries in 3 weeks, starting in Zagreb, Croatia, through Slovenia & Austria to Prague before ending in Oslo, Norway. This is an ambitious trip and an unforgettable journey for the young people taking part. The legacy will be that it will repeat every 4 years, create skills for life and international scouting links: this year's team will be visiting our local Beavers, Cubs and Scouts once back, to tell them about the experience and enthuse younger scouts to apply for the next Bucks Scouts expeditions in 2027 and beyond. Like all Scouting activities, GT23 is 100% led by volunteers and 100% funded by ourselves. These scouts have raised £77,000 so far, which is amazing- but we're just a little short to the tune of ~£4000 to pay for everything we would like the trip to be. Every little helps, so please raid your piggy banks to support this worthy experience for these young people.
