Buddy's Story...

Buddy is a 10 month old Cocker Spaniel who has been one of my Canine Company Towcester pups for the last couple of months. He is an incredible dog, sweet natured, playful and very friendly. Buddy is loved by me and all his fur friends at Canine Company and we are so happy to have him as part of our family.

Unfortunately, Buddy has a heart murmur, and because he was born with this condition the treatment he requires is not covered by his insurance. Following a recent visit to the heart specialist, Will, Buddy's pup parent, was told that Buddy would need surgery to have a balloon fitted in order to live a long, normal, happy, healthy life. Without the treatment Buddy will only live for around another twelve months. The cost of the treatment Buddy requires is £3-5K, which his family alone cannot afford.

Buddy is a fantastic companion for Will who is himself on a journey of recovery having just finished treatment for leukaemia. Buddy and Will truly deserve to live healthy and happy lives together, and this is why I ask for your help. All donations, no matter how big or small, would go a long way to helping raise the funds required so that Buddy can continue his life journey with his best friend.

If funds raised are in excess of the required amount for Buddy's surgery, they will be donated to Animals in Need Northamptonshire.
