I've raised £600 to We've raised £410, thank you so much but we need to keep going and try to raise £1000 for the groundworks at the Morrisons/Lidl roundabout.

For the past two years friends Sue Read ( local artist and Bude girl) and Jane Adams (retired Headteacher and Bude resident of 40 years)have been working towards the improvement of the Morrisons / Lidl roundabout.
They have attended meetings with the local council, with Cornwall Highways (Cormac), developed design proposals, researched materials and have been in conversations with potential sponsors as well as developing a team of more volunteers who will help with groundworks.
Their goal is to provide an improved visual entry and exit to Bude for local residents and tourists alike. Their design aims to be environmentally sensitive, low to no maintenance and to be there for decades.
An exciting development is the interest of Bott of Bude in sponsoring of the materials and the creating of the surfboard sculptures on behalf of the community. The three designs, that reflect the spirit of Bude ( Barrel rock, the ocean and fishing, sunshine and surfing as we have the first surf life saving club in the UK), will be cut from sheet metal, mounted on galvanised poles and set in concrete thanks to Cormac.
The money we are requesting is to complete the groundworks ( weed culling, barrier matting, purchase of stone, chippings and planting) with our volunteer local team
We're nearly there folks!! Thank you Charlie Keay Media for photo....
