We are a group of Stanborough school students raising money for Herts young homeless, that help people aged 16-24 who lack the necessary life skills to live independently. Also they deal with family breakdowns when individuals are thrown out and do not choose to be homeless, allowing health services to be available for them as well.On average a homeless person lives to only 47 rather than the 81 years old for a UK citizen. Homelessness can be defined as being without permanent, stable or suitable accommodation. Besides rough sleepers and people living on the streets this includes those who are sleeping on friends floors or living in hostels.

We are aiming to help people that are at risk of this or already are in situations of help needed. This matters to us as we believe everyone deserves a happy, healthy home with the same opportunities given to everyone.
