Thank you for taking the time to read this fundraiser for our dearest son, brother and uncle, Ahmad Wais Gani, known by everyone as Aj.


He’s known for being the most kind-hearted, most caring, a devoted son, a brother, role model to his niece and nephews and a loving husband. He was so generous, always helping people be it his family, friends or those who are less fortunate, and even opened his own charity under the name of Wais Foundation LTD which specifically aimed towards the advancement of health and saving the lives of those with disabilities.


He was involved in a car accident in his pride and joy which was his vehicle customisation garage. He was the strongest in our family, having previously survived another major accident in 2003 and becoming paraplegic. Nevertheless, he ensured he wouldn’t let his disability or anything get in the way of building a successful life for himself and a comfortable life for his family. Allah swt allowed him to stay with us till now and had him depart this world at the most beautiful time during the holy month of Ramadan whilst he was fasting.

It was narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever builds a masjid (mosque) for the sake of Allah, Allah will build something similar for him in Paradise.'" (Sahih) For this reason, we would like to follow in his footsteps and aid people by building a Masjid in a rural area with facilities such as a water well to provide clean water.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)." Every time someone uses the masjid or the water well, inshallah his good deeds will increase on the scale whilst he is facing the trials in his grave.
