My name is Ben Pennycook, and BYC (Build Your Confidence) is a range of initiatives created by me focused on the mental health benefits of building the self-esteem, motivation, and confidence of students and children, while at school, university, or a youth centre.

I've structured this to be as time-saving and budget-friendly as possible, because the one thing teachers don't have enough of is time, and the smaller the budget, the easier it will be to maintain.

In May of 2023 I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of the 500 Coronation Champions across the UK, and was given the opportunity to be part of King Charles III's Coronation. I am really thankful to have been nominated, and grateful that the judges of the award selected me.
