Bukit Lawang Trust is a Community Centre in North Sumatra, which provides free education to the local community. We run Exercise classes, English classes, Conservation classes, classes on Female Health and are starting a business programme to promote sustainable enterprises in the local community. We also have two Kindergarten classes. The Trust depends entirely on donations to remain open. The Centre is also the sole source of income for many of our local Indonesian staff whose wages come directly from your donations.

The Trust is in dire need of renovation in order to keep it as a safe Education Centre for the 300 students from seven rural villages who receive free education here every week.

Sam and Rosie have been renovating for just over a week now (see cringe photo), but they need your help! Our goal is to raise £1,000 by Christmas, so that our students can have the Education Centre which they deserve.
