I've raised £1150 to Buy a defibrillator for Bullen Village, Ryde.

After attending a CPR course at our local fire station, my 11 year old daughter decided she would like to try raise money for a defibrillator in our local community to help save lives in the event of an emergency - here is the letter she has written to our local community to help raise funds....
Dear residents of Bullen Village,
Today my mum, my little brother, my little sister and I went to Ryde Fire Station. We learnt all about how to do CPR in case of an emergency. We spoke all about the percentages of saving someones life: Chest CPR only 6%, Mouth to Mouth only 9%, but the highest percentages of saving someones life was the defibrillator at 75%! Also we spoke about whereabouts the defibrillators are kept and the closest ones are at Busy Bee and Tesco - too far away to go there and back, by the time you get back it could be too late. We have sent this exact letter to everyone in Bullen Village asking everyone if they would not mind giving a few pounds to raise money for one to put in our square so lives could be saved if something were to happen in our community.
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you will think about it.
