Story
Everyone meet Bumble. Bumble is my best friend and truthfully, the only reason I get up out of bed in the morning. I have had her since she was a pup, and she became the key reason for leaving a domestic abusive relationship 5 years ago. She makes me feel safe and protects me from everything she can. Even when I’m having a bad bipolar day she’s right by my side and does nothing but love me, even when I can’t love myself. Currently though she is in a rather critical condition at the vets from a freak accident and I am devastated.
She has managed to impact a disc while playing with her tennis ball last Thursday, and is consequently paralysed in both hind legs and tail, and has no feeling or sensation. She has been undergoing physiotherapy for a week to help her to be able to regain the use of her legs and to be able to walk again, as surgery was not a viable option. I am hoping that with a few more weeks of treatment, sensation will return slowly and she will be able to come home and play with her ball once again.
The vet fees for such a long and intensive treatment however are substantial. Her insurance will only be able to cover so much and one week stay at the best place of care is already sitting at £4000. I am expecting her to be in the vets for two to three more weeks for her to have the best shot possible at regaining the ability to walk. The smallest donation will be incredibly helpful, and I will forever be grateful to those that can help her at this time of need. I really don't want to lose my best friend, and I want to give her the best fighting chance of being able to come home.
Thank you.

Anyone who meets Bumble falls in love with her, and at 5 years old, she still has plenty of life to live, and many more balls to chase. I would like nothing more than for her to get better right now and be able to continue being by my side.
