Weʼve raised £115 to fund 30 Bumble Bea Bags to be donated to UHCW Neonatal Unit.

Funded on Wednesday, 26th December 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Bumble Bea Bags are care packages we donate to families of babies on UHCW Neonatal unit. The bags are named after our daughter Bea who spent 5 months on the unit before being well enough to come home. The bags contain essential items so that parents can stay with their babies without needing to buy these items.

Each bag costs £10 to fund. It is a reusable tote and contains Maternity pads, disposable underwear, nursing pads, deodorant, shower gel, toothpaste, 2 toothbrushes, handcream, lipbalm, tissues, comb, hair accessories, wash cloth, shampoo, notepad and pen and comfort squares. £300 will fund 30 bags.

Thank you for your continued support.

I was on the unit in April when my son was born and my bag was a godsend! They are a brilliant idea and invaluable when you’re stuck in hospital! Thank you for doing them!

Thank you for all your help with the donated bags. We really appreciated the items when my wife was in the hospital as our daughter came unexpectedly and we had nothing with us.

It’s fantastic to see you’re still donating these bags and how well superstar Bea is doing x
