I've raised £1200 to help install a life-saving defibrillator in our community.

🎃 BUMBLES PUMPKIN PATCH 🎃
We are excited to host our first ever Pumpkin Patch at Bumbles for our children, families and team as part of a fundraising activity to install a defibrillator in our local community.
Bumbles' recent spell of First Aid courses highlighted again the importance of Defibrillators and how every business, street or public space should have one nearby. So, we thought it would be a lovely idea to make our Pumpkin Patch a fundraiser for exactly that, to raise as much as we can to help buy and install a Defibrillator at or near one of our settings. Note: you can have a look yourself and check where Defibs are near you on this website: https://www.defibfinder.uk
Every Bumbles setting has a Defibrillator near, although in an emergency situation maybe not near enough. We hope to raise enough money to buy and place a defib outside Bumbles in the Park with agreement from the council. This is a high footfall area with the Playpark right beside and an entrance/exit to and from the park itself.
THE MORE DEFIBRILLATORS WE HAVE ON OUR STREETS, THE MORE CHANCE WE HAVE TO HELP SAVE A LIFE.
🎃 WHEN AND WHERE? 🎃 Please note: Our Bumbles families can choose either setting to visit.
🎃 Bumbles on the Hill - Friday 28th Oct, from 4:30 - 7pm (69 Church Rd, Castlereagh Hills)
🎃 Bumbles in the Park (Ormeau Park setting) - Sat 29th Oct, from 9:30am - 12pm
Lots of fun, games, treats & nibbles as well as the main Pumpkin event! Best family fancy dress wins a prize!
We are so grateful for any donation you can make.
If you are a Bumbles parent wanting to bring your family, we would suggest a minimum donation of £10 here (as a way of a ticket) and if you leave a message / comment on this page with your donation so we know who to expect and on which day.
If you are a local resident or business of Ormeau and want to get involved / donate, please comment with your donation so we can thank you at a later stage.
It will be a great Halloween weekend, hopefully with a fantastic end result being a further life-saving defibrillator for the Ormeau Road area.
