Story
On July 1st 2021 Andy and Ben undertook a challenge with a difference to help raise money and awareness for a cause very close to their hearts.
Gunner Lewis - Vale, Ben's nephew, was diagnosed in March 2021 with a very rare genetic disorder called MPS 1, meaning he cannot breakdown his body’s sugars, shortening life expectancy with indefinite life changing effects and the race was on to help find a donor.
Fast forward and a donor has been found for Gunner, but with these types of disorders the battle will never be over. So WE GO AGAIN - supporting The gunner Lewis-Vale Trust (*and more detailed below)
Andy and Ben want to continue their 'Bums on Seats' challenge to help and support where they can. This time along with Gunners Trust they will be supporting the following fantastic causes, The Lewy Body Society, Anthony Nolan Prostate Cancer UK and DKMS. Every penny raised will be evenly distributed to this.
Bums on Seats challenge 2 is being hosted by Crewe Alexendra FC on Thursday 4th November. Both Andy and Ben will be sitting in all 10,153 seats in The Mornflake Stadium. They will also be joined by upto 10 Crewe supportes who are also taking part in this challenege.
