Story
Please help Bunbury continue to fundraise for a second outdoor public access defibrillator for our village.
Public access defibrillators save lives and there has been a fantastic response to this fundraising campaign to purchase one to be located on Bunbury Village Hall's outside wall.
Generous JustGiving donations, along with previous fundraising events and the support of a national heart charity who had recently contacted us to offer their support, means we will shortly be able to purchase this.
Given the very many positive messages of support left on the JustGiving page by those making donations, we have decided to continue the JustGiving fundraising to try and get a second 24/7 defibrillator for our village - which our local First Responders group suggest would be best located at the playing fields where it would be immediately accessible 24/7 close to the activities taking place at The Pavilion and on the playing fields, the playground; tennis courts and scout facilities - as well as being adjacent to the car park.
If you have not yet donated please do support us if you are able.
If your generous donations meant that we exceed our stated target, any excess will be deposited with our local First Responder Group to help fund the future maintenance of the defibrillators they look after, which need periodic replacement of the defibrillators' batteries and pads.
