Schools and education

Story

This campaign is going towards raising money for Bunjako school in Uganda. Launceston College are taking its students there and are raising money for the school and to improve their standards of learning. Last year, we were able to purchase solar panels to power the whole school, however this year we want to improve classrooms by either painting them or building new ones, update their resources for lessons such as textbooks and stationary, and even more importantly, pay for a child's tuition fees for a year, as we did last year. Education is so important ad opens so many doors, but is something that a lot of poorer families can't afford. We will be teaching them and supplying equipment for sports such as football, rugby, or rounders as well. Also we won't just be teaching the students academic subjects, but educating them on hygiene and sexual health, as well as teaching the girls about their bodies and how to use pads and tampons. These are all such important aspects of life, that a lot us take for granted, that they need to be taught about and experience. You can help, please donate today!- Izzie and Charlotte
