Not content with running around after the children at Burchetts Green CofE Infant School, our incredible Headmistress Delia Sheppard, school administrator Victoria Cullum and a few other brave accomplices are taking on the super tough Race to the Tower Ultra marathon on the 9th / 10th June 2018.

They are fundraising to help our small village school build a much needed new outdoor learning pod /library and create a more interactive outdoor physical learning circuit whilst their accomplices are raising for Mind or their own favoured causes.

The route is 52 miles and they've ambitions to complete the whole event in about 18 / 20 hours.

There are a few injuries amongst them but they are going for it in spite of those and we can only take inspiration from them for their tough spirit and determination. This is also a celebration of the 150 years since the school's foundation.
