We are always trying to create areas to provide an exciting learning environment which caters for the needs of all our children. The money raised will be used to purchase resources to help us create quiet, exploratory, calm spaces inside and outside of our pre-school. Being in a big sometimes very noisy hall, can mean children get overwhelmed and we want to provide spaces to enable them to spend quiet time to calm, settle, regulate and relax when needed, this will help them to cope with a full day in the setting and make their time a much more positive experience. It will also enable us to provide a quiet space to give those children that need it, focused time to help with speech and language development. Unfortunately pre-schools across the county are struggleing with the amount of funding we receive from the government and as a setting our funding does not cover the cost of new toys/equipment resources at all, we are reliant on fundraising when we want to make any sort of improvements to our setting.
