Story
Hi everybody,
I'm raising funds for the St Mary's Agape Mission School!
This is a volunteer-run school in Malaysia which provides educational services to 25-35 Myanmar refugee children aged 4 to 16. Since January, I've been organising monthly group events in London to write postcards to the children, and though they're really shy about their English, they've been writing us back!
I'm now launching a couple more projects which anyone interested is welcome to join - a ongoing collaborative story writing project between the London volunteers and the refugee children (https://www.meetup.com/CauseCorpsLondon/events/240918063/), and a workshop teaching people to knit where all proceeds will go to the refugee school (https://www.meetup.com/UK-Malaysians/events/241638487/).
