Please help support a small local and brilliant run Burton Cricket Club which has suffered several thousands of pounds worth of damage in the recent floods.

Burton Cricket Club is a community run local team which supports players from the multiple local diverse communities.

As you can see from the pictures taken from ITV news coverage on Tuesday 18th Feb 2020 the ground as well as the necessary equipment has been severely damaged With the ground upto 5ft of flood water!

The new cricket season starts in mid April and the club will be really struggling to get things ready in time. There has been severe damage to the Score Box, Equipment Shed which contains Petrol Lawn Mowers and Rollers, Rain Covers for the ground and various others items necessary to maintain the ground all year round. There is also possible damage to the Pavilion but we are unable to get access at the moment because of the flooding.

Please help with any amount big or small as it will make a difference!! You are welcome to come and visit the ground anytime and see for yourself the damage that has been caused.

Once the money has been raised and spent we will also post updates on this page.
