On Monday February 6th at 4.17am, a massive magnitude 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Southern Türkiye followed by a subsequent 7.4 quake and hundreds of aftershocks.

The earthquake in Turkiye, has taken the lives of over 21000 people and affected millions more. The total death toll will unfortunately rise as search and rescue efforts continue, making it the country's largest disaster since 1939.
