Story

Throughout the past 12 months our fundraisers have generated £1,140 in total. We now have 7 people who have set up standing order which generates £2,760 per year. Some kind adopters occasionally send us something as anniversary adoption donation or birthday donations. We get a lot of food from Animal Support Angels which is our life-saver. We are extremely grateful for all help we receive.

It’s not the best time of the year and I’m rubbish at asking for donations, but we’ve spent a decade covering about 90% of the cost of cats in our care out of our own private money, and relying heavily on the food donated from cat food bank. This year I’ve used all of my my redundancy pay from work to help out the strays. We've been overwhelmed with cats coming in non stop and with endless rushing to the vet, and we've just been paying out of out pocket because these were all immediate needs. Well over a hundred cats came through our door this year alone, and we are only a home based rescue run by a married couple. This is crazy and unacceptable. At the moment we are unable to take in any more cats until we have cleared our finances and until the current 30 cats in our care have been rehomed. We almost never ask for help but we’ve exhausted everything we had, and this is just not fair on us. Please, consider helping cats in our care.

Thank you in advance ❤️
