I've raised £5100 to Cover the cost of the insurances need on The Bus Shelter Ipswich CIC vehicles.

It's that time of year again that works out quite costly for us. On the 1sf of April our insurances for our vehicles is due.
We have 3 vehicles that are insured on one policy which covers all of our needs including road, contents and public liability. The down side is the policy is £5067 per year !!!! That's broken down to 10 months at £507.
For a not for profit organisation thats not funded by central or local government that's a big pot to fill and without your support it wouldn't be possible.
So what are the vehicles used for and why are they important ???
Each vehicle has its own duty in which it helps the homeless, not only the ones that sleep on the streets but the the ones sofa surfing and in hostel as well as families that are struggling to remain afloat in this troubled time.
Tiffers our first bus provides residential accommodation for those that are suited. It's not for everyone but the ones it is, it's a safe haven. Somewhere they can sleep safe and wake up feeling ready to tackle a new day. We offer 24/7 support and guidance and if need be a little bit of hand holding to get them back on their feet.
Our little outreachmobile is also our residents transport which we use to get them from A to B, whether it be employment, appointments or festivals we attend with Tiffers to raise awareness and funds for the everyday running costs. We use the van to respond to messages/calls for someone if concern and can normally attend with the hour. Carrying supplies of sleeping bags, food snacks, drinks, toiletteries and clothing it's a vital service which is ready and equipped to go anywhere in Suffolk.
Cheys is our 2nd bus which once the conversion is complete within the next couple of months will be a more stable outreach service which will have planned days in different towns around Suffolk, assisting local organisations tackle the varied issues of homelessness and helping those in need engage and get the support they need.
