Story

Hinchingbrooke Hospital, part of the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, has recently completed a full redevelopment resulting in a brand new Children & Young People's Emergency Department. The purpose of this new dedicated department is to provide an environment specifically meeting the needs of the infants, children and young people of our local community.

We care for children and young people who present with a range of illnesses and injuries, who can often be upset and distressed. However, play and distraction plays a huge part in helping to reduce pain and alleviate their fears, so we have sourced an innovative and exciting product that is suitable for all ages, combining all the fun elements of shimmering water, floating fish, magical stars, blooming flowers, fluffy clouds and visual auras all in one single system. Charlie Nunn

This product is an interactive 4D floor projection system that allows children to interact with moving images and see real time reactions on the floor. Not only will this product provide play and distraction but it will help brighten up the area and hopefully make coming to the Children & Young People's Emergency Department a better experience.
