I've raised £500 to Help build a stronger community, for children with additional needs

Me and Harry will be undertaking a sponsored Walk on Sunday 18th August to help support children with additional needs. Our walk will be 5 miles long, from Hopton holiday village to the most Easterly point we choose this end point to highlight how amazing our town is, but to also highlight what we need to do to help make a change for children with additional needs. A fit adult would be able to walk this in 1 hour and 30 minutes. But for little legs such as harry it will take a little longer, but with the aid of his trusty stick that he has been taking on our practice walks im sure he will smash it.
We will be fundraising for 2 charities:
This amazing charity, helps so many local families offering impeccable information as well as support. This branch is run by volunteers, who are devoted to helping every family that needs it. Not only that but they also run monthly meetings to help support our community, as well as organising yearly events for children with additional needs.
Unfortunately our county as well as many others, is failing children with additional needs. And the need for branches such as this is becoming a national crisis. Therefore its essential us as a community helps to support and prolong this free service for the current and future generation.
This amazing Pre-school has supported Harry in the first steps into school life. They have gone above and beyond to ensure he adapts and grows within the setting. Harry is due to leave the Pre-school in September to embark his journey into main stream school. And we wanted to give something back as a thank you, this Pre-school is a charity. So we wanted to be able to buy some new equipment in Harry's name, for the existing and new pupils within the setting.
During our walk we will be stopping at our favourite spots to take photos, along with some facts. Our aim is to raise money and awareness so we hope you can support our journey. This journey will be long and hard, but no where near as tough as the journey that lies ahead for children like Harry.
