I've raised £1000 to Improve local schools in Bwengu, Malawi

We are currently raising money to help improve local schools in Bwengu, Malawi. As part of the 'Bwengu project', schools will benefit with up to date teaching materials and equipment. This means that the quality of education that local children are able to receive is improved.
After attending a similar project last year, it was a shock to see the conditions of the schools, and the difference a short stay and a few volunteers can make. We set out to provide each school we visited (4 in total) with a projector and a tablet for lessons. Everyone was so very grateful for our help, with children and teachers attending school in their holidays to test out the new gear. Our help also meant that children had new benches to sit on, instead of sitting on the floor for the whole day.
Our aim is to continue with this project in August 2018 with your help. The more money we raise, the more schools we can visit and transform. Each kit costs £675e.

We will also be working with the local villages to educate women on health matters.
