Story

Last week I had every parents worst nightmare and had my son rushed into hospital. We spent 4 days in the Puffin Ward at the Royal Derby Hospital.

During my time there my son had managed to soil in all the clothes I'd quicky bagged together when we were leaving to go to the hospital. The ward sister managed to get him a brand new pair that had been donated at Christmas but she said this was somethkng they struggled to provide for parents as they rely on donations.

Other items they are running low on are

PJs for age 13+

Toiletries travel size

Slippers

Fluffy socks

Blankets

Flannels

Sponges

Nail polish (they use this as an activity for the older children)

The care we received from the wonderful staff was incredible and I cannot thank them enough. However myself and Bye Bye House would like to try and raise some money to be able to buy these items for the hospital.

I will also be accepting donations of the above items which could be collected or posted to me (PM for address)

* Please not that due to covid the hospital are unable to accept items that are not brand new*

I will be aiming to deliver the donations to the hospital on Friday 29th April so I need all donations by 5pm 28th April.

Many thanks from myself and Bye Bye House
