In April 2017 I was diagnosed with bowel cancer. I underwent a temporary illiostomy followed by 6 months of chemotherapy. In February 2018 I was fortunate enough to receive the all-clear. In order to say thank you to the staff at both The Christie's and Salford Royal Hospital, I am trying to raise around £1,000 by taking part in the Manchester 10k Run at the end of May 2018. Any donations, large or small, would be greatly appreciated to help fund future care and research into all types of cancer. If anyone would like to join in with the Manchester Run then they are more than welcome.
