Becoming a veterinarian means I can ensure that owners are aware of the possible choices for their animals at difficult times, and I can ensure that animals have the best possible welfare provided for them by educating their owners. Hopefully one day I can use this education to teach others in third world countries, making them understand about the benefits of providing high standards of welfare, not just a benefit for their animals, but them also.

I am asking for YOUR HELP to achieve my ambition of being able to help all types of animals and owners. It has been my dream since I was younger to be a vet, and for those who know me know how I have worked tirelessly to get to this point. Many believed I would never accepted into veterinary school, being the only one in my family to go to university and finish.

For my second degree at the University of Bristol the fees will be around £50,000 and living/traveling expensives appriximately £30,000- which I have to fund myself as I DO NOT GET HELP FROM STUDENT FINANCE for a second degree. EVEN though I got my full tuition paid for my first degree by Bristol and did not use my student tuition loan. Unfortunately, I didn't get an offer first time around, and was given a chance to study Animal Behaviour and Welfare Science at Bristol, which I have successfully achieved a 2:1 and hence OFFERED A PLACE AT VET SCHOOL! To date, I have OVER 55 weeks of work EXPERIENCE WITH ANIMALS, and helping them is my passion.

In first year alone 1056 HOURS are needed to learn the course material, only 48% of this is time is taught in University hours! On top of this, I need to complete work experience over my university holidays and I am dyslexic. This means having a job at university is impossible to maintain - both due to study time needed and holidays spent doing complusary work experience.

PLEASE HELP ME FUND MY WAY THERE - I have only ever wanted to help people and their animals, and know I can make a difference.
