Whilst studying in America I was initially not going to go home and stay in Toledo for Christmas but due to Summer classes and reduced holidays next Christmas related to my course this may be the only time I can visit my Mum, sister and grandparents across the 2 years of study here. I am very close to my mum who has always been a 1 parent family on a low income and therefore the funds to fly me across the Atlantic back to England are not something readily available. I am hoping I am able to raise a small amount through crowd funding which I will be able to combine and use with some University financial aid I have been very generously provided with, alongside what I have available in my savings, to spend a few weeks with my family across the Christmas period before my course becomes more time demanding and vacations/holidays become less generous. I have been enjoying my first experience of America since arriving at the start of August however it the furthest I have been from my home in the North of England and skype does not quite meet the physical interaction spent with family. Any amount of support would be overwhelming and my Christmas would be truly complete with my family around me. Thank you for taking the time to read the above.
