I've raised £1100 to help fund the everyday needs (such as food and water) of the orphanage as there is currently a shortfall on the regular income

I am raising money for Karibu Nyumbani Orphanage, an establishment that provides orphans a home and family in rural Tanzania. The staff at the orphanage provide selfless and devoted care for the children, striving to give each child equal attention and opportunity they need to flourish.
I experienced this loving family environment personally when I volunteered at Karibu Nyumbani back in 2016 and saw first-hand both the support this community provides for these children, but also the challenges they face. The orphanage relies solely upon donations and the sales from their sewing shop, and so providing food, clothes, water and electricity, and transport to the school is never guaranteed. This experience was probably the greatest but hardest of my life, and they will always remain so close to my heart.
In doing the half marathon on March 17, I’m aiming to raise as much money as possible with the aim to unburden both staff and children of this worry, and provide much needed security and stability in these children’s’ lives. Any donation would be incredibly appreciated, no matter how big or small. Thank you for your support, and asante sana from everyone at the orphanage!
