Story

Hi, My names Mykala, or known by friends as Kayla. Im a senior sister at a local hospital. During Covid we were supported so much from the general public, we wanted to give something back. Christmas is a time for family and friends, cosy nights in, with food and warmth. Unfortunately some people dont have that privelage. Myself, Husband and my nursing team are putting together a pop up soup kitchen on Saturday 23rd December 2023 for the homeless community in wolverhampton. We will be providing, warm drinks, Hot food and giving out essential item gift bags. One stop have also very kindly donated some selection boxes for us to give out as gifts.

In order to raise the funds, for us to buy essential items to run the event, my husband has commited to running 100 miles in November. We would be very grateful if you could spare anything at all to sponsor him.

In England alone more than 270,000 people are homless with over 100,000 of these being children!

Thank you so much in advance for your support!

We wish you and your families a Merry Christmas x
