Story

A team of 16 Cadishead Sports JFC coaches, friends and family have set themselves a challenge to raise £1000 by completing the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride on 08th July 2018. They will each complete 62miles on the day and its set to be a tough test for the team. The objective is to raise as much money as possible towards the target set in order to help with repairs and inprovements to the club house at our Rowson Drive ground. The team consists of Dave Ingle, Nick Bracken, Rob Hathaway, Nathan Lynch, Steve Bates, Cliff Thomson, Steve Kloc, Carl Dawson, Maxine Dawson, Mike Weekes, Carl Rowbotham, Nick Parker, Sarah Woodward, Vicki Worsley, Dave Pike and Phil Mitchell. Cadishead Sports JFC is a junior football club established in the 1970’s and has been providing boys and girls aged 4-16 an opportunity to participate in football. We’re a non for profit junior football club and any money we raise goes back into the facilities and equipment for the kids to benefit from. Cadishead Sports JFC committee would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the team for taking on this challenge to help the club and for the general public who kindly donate to help us to reach our target, we really appreciate any level of support however much it may be.
