I've raised £1400 to Help fund a public access defibrillator for Cadoxton Village, Neath

The use of a defibrillator in the first 10 minutes of cardiac arrest can have a huge bearing on survival in fact it is shown that for every minute that a defibrillator is not used it can decrease the chance of survival by 10% - 12%. I have unfortunately been in the horrible situation of giving CPR whilst a defibrillator was locked in a building some 150 metres away that we could not access with tragic consequences. It is then a must have for any community to have access to its own defibrillator in a readily accessible place for any situation it may be needed for. The greatest outcome for all is that it will never be needed by anyone but its only when its needed and there is not one readily available it is missed most and as shown above it is time critical. Please help in giving as much or as little as possible for the residents of Cadoxton to have this life saving equipment available.
