I've raised £1000 to support Caerwys Ukrainian refugee families

The community of Caerwys are welcoming two families from Ukraine to take refuge as they flee their country for safety. Our church, St. Michael's, along with Caerwys residents have joined forces with a local caravan park to enable the families a comfortable and safe place to live after enduring such horrific events. They are working together to make sure they receive the best possible care. The first family are due to arrive on 14th July. The money donated on this JustGiving page will go towards supporting their living costs, for food and other necessities, helping them to integrate into a more settled yet unfamiliar life.
My husband, Bryn and I will be taking part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on Saturday 30th July, this will be a demanding 24.5 mile trek over the 3 highest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales. The challenge is to do this within 12 hours. The total ascent on the day with be over 1,500m; higher than Ben Nevis...this is no mean feat! Our training is well underway and we will be keeping you updated along the journey.
Your donations will be very gratefully received and any amount is welcome, whether it is £1 or £10, we thank you. Please share this page to help us raise as much money as possible for the families coming to Caerwys seeking safety from the war in Ukraine.
