Story
This page has been set up to help raise funds and show support for my brother Cain North.
Back in April, Cain unexpectedly suffered from an episode of seizures which we now know was a cause of a grade 3 malignant brain tumour. Since diagnosis, he has undergone surgery to remove the tumour. As physically strong as he is, Cain has shown his immense mental toughness through this life changing time - no less than 24 hours was Cain back at home from resting from the surgery. A long road of recovery is ahead for Cain as further treatment is required and this is the reason for this page.
For everyone that knows Cain, he lives and breathes his job. He basically lived out of the gym as a personal trainer to provide the highest quality service to all of his clients. Unfortunately, for the foreseeable, as a self-employed personal trainer Cain will not be able to do the thing he loves.
This page is all about showing Cain support through this life changing time and to help raise funds whilst he faces a long road to recovery.
Myself and Cameron Coates will be running this years Tough Mudder Yorkshire 15k on July 29th to help raise funds for Cain. Cam will also be running the Great North Run on September 10th on behalf of this page to again raise funds and show support. 100% of the funds raised from this page will be going to Cain. We hope these small challenges - in comparison to what Cain has gone through and has ahead - on behalf of Cain can give those that know him a chance to show they’re with him every step of the way.
Thank you all in advance for any show of support to Cain. I know it’s what keeps him going.
