Story

Most people who know me know that I don't run. But this year I agreed to complete the Great South Run with my mum. A whopping 10 miles.

So before I can regret this decision I'm going to put forward a cause. My nephew was diagnosed when he was young as autistic, because of this he now attends Fiveways School in Yeovil, who specialise in communication and interaction. Recently, they have begun fundraising for a new sensory playground to suit all of its pupils.

Plans are to make it fully accessible in all weather conditions, and include a sensory garden, and play equipment specially designed to teach children how to move their bodies and encourage them to play together.

All children deserve a place to play, disability or not. The sooner we can raise funds the sooner Tyler and his friends will have a fun, safe place for them to play and grow!
