Story

Hey everyone!!!!

If you know me well you will know over the years I have been involved in a charity very close to my heart 'ankoma outreach' (http://ankomaoutreach.co.uk). Ankoma Outreach is a non-for-profit organisation who support a small village in the Kwahu District in Ghana. Their work spreads throughout the village, working in Ankoma Presbeyterian Primary School, the Health Clinic and throughout the community. They have launched several different projects in Ankoma of which some I have been apart of myself. Take a look at some of my post below from my time in Ghana.

Since being back in England a group of amazing volunteers have been working endlessly to make a big dream a reality. In just under 15 weeks 5 of the children from ankoma are coming to the UK(traveling/visiting all up and down the country) for the trip of a life time. The process of this has been so long involving hours and hours of fundraising, meetings, organisation in the UK and Ghana. The children did not even have birth certificates never mind passports. So many generous organisations have donated food/accommodation and leisure vouchers for the children to enjoy while they're here. Of course, from the cost of their birth certificates and passports to the clothes for every single child for their time in the UK...this has come at a massive cost which will total at £18,000 to make the dream a reality. I have been challenged alongside 20 other people in June to raise £100 which will bring us closer to the total.

If 200 of my friends on Facebook donated £1 i'll smash this total. If you are interested in knowing anymore or how you can help, pop me a message.

Thankyou guys x
