Story
I am going to Tanzania in 2019 with Camps International and a group of students from my school, The Sir John Colfox Academy.
We will work in African communities on projects chosen by the locals to improve their quality of life. I might be digging trenches to route clean water to the villages, building houses, working in schools - wherever the need is greatest. I will live and work amongst the Tanzanian people for 4 weeks.
There will be some fun along the way and the chance to gain a scuba diving qualification too.
It costs over £4000 to take part in the expedition and we have lots of fundraising ideas up our sleeves. We would be very grateful for any donation you feel able to give.
I count myself very lucky to have this opportunity and hope I can really help improve the lives of the people I visit.
We plan to print a T-Shirt with the names of all you generous supporters and sponsors which I will wear on the expedition to remind me of all the effort and generosity it took to get me there!
Thank you
