What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
In Summer 2020 Caitlin is taking part in a Camps International trip to Kenya. In the 4 weeks she will be away she will be taking part in Beach Conservation work, some work in the local community and also taking part in a trek around the area.
Monies raised through Just Giving will be used to help her pay for equipment for the trek. Kenya has a "no plastic bags" policy so Caitlin needs to invest in some dry bags for rucksack liners, along with lightweight sleeping bag, clothing, sun hat and insect repellent!
She has recently completed a sponsored climb of Mount Snowdon in Wales and is planning to walk the Greensands Ridge over the summer holiday.
