Five of us are driving to Calais to volunteer with Care4Calais who continue to support and protect the many refugees who remain in Calais and will return after the demolition. We want to bring with us donations to help the ongoing work of the charities.

We will go for the weekend of 11-13th of November to deliver what we’ve raised, to help out in the kitchen, distribution centre and on the camp. As we’re funding the costs of the trip ourselves, any donations you make would go direct to Care4Calais, specifically the priority items listed on their website: http://care4calais.org/donate/

The last time demolition happened 129 children went missing. This last minute eviction is estimated to cause increased devastation and homelessness. They are in desperate need of help.

• Sleeping bags and blankets
• Men’s warm waterproof winter coats
• Men's waterproof walking boots with raised ankle sizes 38 – 45 (but most sizes 42/43)
• Toiletries and toiletry packs
